The Scientific Sub-committee for ESA16 invites proposals for conference symposia. The Conference will be held from 28 November to 3 December 2016 at the Esplanade Hotel, Fremantle, Western Australia.

Symposia are the scientific centrepiece of ESA Conferences, and we encourage organisers to contribute proposals with exciting combinations of speakers.

Proposals must be submitted via the online submission site by the closing date of
29 February 2016.

We welcome submissions for symposia from across the breadth of ecology. Proponents should provide a short rationale for a theme, noting its potential interest to ecologists, as outlined in the guidelines for submission below. We particularly encourage submissions that relate to theme of the conference: Diversity: Pattern, Process and Prospects.
