Entries for the 2017 UNAA World Environment Day Climate Action Awards are open nationally until Friday March 31!

The 2015 UN Paris Climate Agreement requires states to progressively “mobilise stronger and more ambitious action by all stakeholders, including civil society, the private sector, cities and subnational authorities, local governments and indigenous peoples”.

In response to this call, the United Nations Association of Australia is promoting the development of a national, inclusive climate management framework.

To coincide with World Environment Day 2017 (5 June), the UNAA will hold an inaugural Climate Collaboration Forum – a full day event which will include presenting the 2017 World Environment Day Climate Action Awards.

This event will also be a key feature of the UNAA's work to promote the implementation of SDG 13 – Climate Action.

Visit the website for information about attending the Forum; entering the Awards and being part of our Climate Management Showcase.
