Do you have something to say to the forestry profession in Australia and New Zealand about forest management, fire management or landscape level decision making? Would you like to make a contribution to discussions about the role of forests and foresters in international development, catchment management or innovation and certification in forest products and supply chains? Do you have any great ideas for urban forestry, forest restoration, landcare, agroforestry or conservation of forest biodiversity?
If so, now is your chance to submit an abstract for a paper to present to the 2015 Conference of the Institute of Foresters of Australia and the New Zealand Institute of Forestry.
We expect over 300 forest managers and related professionals from across the Asia Pacific region to attend this conference. The conference theme is Beyond Tenure: managing forests across the landscape; Foresters provide the professional capacity to manage trees across public and private ownerships. We plan to explore ways to manage across the forest estate to meet community objectives. This requires a new thinking about forest management. We want you to have your say.
Submit your abstract now!
Submissions close Friday 28 November 2014.
