2nd annual election for the board of the International Network of Next-Generation Ecologists (INNGE)

The International Network of Next Generation Ecologists (INNGE, [in-jee]) is a network of ecologists that seeks to bring early career ecologists together from around the world. It is the hope that this will help to strengthen international ties and inspire new activities in a growing global community of ecologists. During the past decades, the world has grown steadily smaller. Amidst this, the numbers of students and early career researchers in the sciences have increased dramatically and academic communities have become increasingly international.

INNGE are looking for candidates – enthusiastic, creative and skilled early-career scientists – to serve on their board. 

The nominate yourself complete this Google form (http://goo.gl/forms/PuZqke52LC). The form must be filled before January 8th with the following information.

1.    your name
2.    your society (if applicable)
3.    your country
4.    your vision for INNGE, how would you like to see INNGE evolve over the coming years
(<200 words)
5.    how you can contribute to that vision (<100 words)
6.    your biography (one short paragraph or bullet points; may include URL link to additional info).

This information will constitute a candidature and will be included on the ballot.

The election schedule is as follows:

•    December 11th: Call for candidates
•    January 8th : Voting open
•    February 8th: Voting closed
•    February 10th: Results announcement
