Supporting the next generation of ecologists: become a mentor, guest speaker, or mentor booth volunteer. 

Are you passionate about supporting ESA’s early career ecologists (ECE’s) in their professional journey? The ESA Early Career Ecologist Mentoring Program is back, this year offering three exciting opportunities for you to share your expertise and inspire the next generation of ecologists.

Options:

Mentor: As a mentor, you’ll have the opportunity to engage in one-on-one mentorship sessions with ECE’s between May and December this year. Whether you can commit to monthly sessions or prefer a more flexible schedule, your guidance and support will be invaluable.

Guest speaker: If you prefer a one-time commitment, consider joining us as a guest speaker for a mentee peer group session. Share your expertise on a specific topic of interest or simply answer questions to support our mentees during their regular meetings. 

Mentor booth volunteer: Attending the ESA2024 Conference in Melbourne? Join us as a mentor booth volunteer. Engage with mentees seeking guidance and advice during short, focused sessions at the conference. This one-hour commitment offers a unique opportunity to interact with multiple mentees, providing valuable insights and networking opportunities.
