Jill Landsberg Trust Fund Scholarship – application form

Applications for this award will be open between March 1 and April 30 each year

Conditions of the award

Applicants must be enrolled as a postgraduate research student at an Australian university, and be a member of the Ecological Society of Australia. If you are not already a member, you can join the Society at the same time as submitting your application.

Applications uploaded without both supervisor and end-user references will not be considered (so line up your referees early).

The successful applicant must be able to attend the ESA annual conference in the year of the award to accept the grant, and the following year to present their work as the “Jill Landsberg Applied Ecology Student Paper”. To assist with attendance at these conferences, the Trust will provide a travel support grant of up to $4,000. Travel, accommodation and conference registration will be organised by ESA.

A subcommittee of the Jill Landsberg Trust will decide on the award of the grant. The decision of the sub-committee is final. The Fund trustees include: David Gillieson, Sue McIntyre, Richard Hobbs, Jacqui Stol and representatives of the Ecological Society of Australia Board.
