HDR (PhD or MPhil) opportunity in Seagrass Physiology/conservation – University of Adelaide, SA

The Plant Ecophysiology Lab at the University of Adelaide in partnership with SA Water and PIRSA-SARDI is hiring one PhD (3.5 years) or one MPhil (2 years) student for a project that will examine seagrass responses to light and heatwaves.

The successful candidate will join a multi-institutional and multi-disciplinary team of researchers with world-leading expertise in plant ecophysiology, seagrass restoration, and coastal biogeochemistry; and will directly contribute to supporting current seagrass restoration activities in South Australia.

The successful candidate should have interest in plant sciences and a diving rescue certificate (or willingness to obtain one shortly after the HDR commencement).
